ain’t gonna study war no more

	and the endless gray rain pours down
drenching the dead, scattered like toy soldiers after an
unsuccessful war.  Bodies lie, not draped with American
flags, but limbs helter-skelter, as if carelessly tossed aside
by some spoiled child.  Blood runs into dirt and the mud
clogs the earth, swallowing finger by finger
all the shattered soldiers.
